I recently had the joy of being married but, as you know, before the wedding comes a lot of planning. One of the most enjoyable was seeing my wife complete the designs for all of wedding invitations as well as some great save the date magnets (yes, we used fridge magnets and it got really good feedback from family and friends!).

Save the DateThis is our ‘save the date’ magnet, which was designed from scratch by my wife, since she knows what she is doing – running an invitation design business called Pocadot.

It was so good some family thought that it was the actual invitation 🙂

Here are the main invites, with a rose motif and multilayer design which took some time and effort but they were well worth it.

roseShe also managed to match the order of service perfectly with the invitations and I am so glad I left her in charge of most of the wedding! The colour theme for the wedding was predominately white with dashes of red (I will try and get some pics up in the next few weeks). Since my wife LOVES red so much she was very restrained to keep it a classy white with enough splashes of colour to bring the event to life!

rose_ceremonyBelow is a photo of the entire set for our wedding all in one shot which shows you how great all of the wedding invites, save the date and order service look when they are following the same theme. Just so you all don’t think I am too much of a lazy fiance, I helped do the writing and I work as a photographer so these were some shots I put together for her upgraded website.

rose_fullsetIf you are planning your wedding at the moment, I know I am biased, but I really reccomend Pocadot Invitation Designs! Thanks for checking out Wonderful Wedding World as we share our wedding planning knowledge with you to make it all a lot less stressful. I hope you can check out the rest of the site as well.
